Terms of Service
Last updated: June 23, 2026
Welcome to Framecast. These Terms govern your use of the Framecast website and service (the “Service”), which turns HTML/CSS animations into MP4 video. By using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
1. Who we are
Framecast is operated by Matt Tipton, a sole proprietor doing business as “Framecast,” based in Texas, United States. You can reach us at info@framecastvideo.com.
2. What the Service does
You upload an HTML animation; we load it in a browser engine on our servers, capture it frame by frame, and return an MP4 video in the formats you choose (16:9, 9:16, and 1:1). A free preview is rendered with a watermark; a clean, watermark-free export is available as a paid one-time purchase.
3. Your content and your rights
- You keep all ownership of the HTML you upload and the videos you export. We claim no rights to your content.
- You confirm that you own, or have permission to use, everything in the files you upload, including fonts, images, audio, and code.
- You agree not to upload content that is illegal, infringing, malicious, or that you don't have the right to use, and not to use the Service to attempt to attack, overload, or probe our systems or any third party.
We render untrusted code in a sandboxed environment, but you are responsible for what you upload.
4. Pricing and payment
- A clean export is $2.99 per video. It is a one-time charge, with no subscription.
- Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not receive or store your full card details.
- Prices are in U.S. dollars and may change for future purchases; the price shown at checkout is the price you pay for that purchase.
5. Refunds
Because you can preview your video for free before paying, we encourage you to confirm it looks right first. If a paid export fails to render or comes out wrong, email us at info@framecastvideo.com and we'll make it right or refund you. We want you happy with the result.
6. Handling of your files
Uploaded HTML and rendered videos are processed transiently to deliver your export and are automatically deleted from our systems shortly after, within roughly 30 minutes. See our Privacy Policy for details.
7. Availability
We work to keep the Service running well, but it is provided on an “as available” basis. We may change, suspend, or discontinue features, and we don't guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.
8. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Framecast will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, and our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid us for the purchase giving rise to the claim.
9. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Texas.
10. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we'll revise the “Last updated” date above. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
